    LIVING GRACE FELLOWSHIP is seeking a Bi-vocational Senior Pastor to lead our small nondenominational community church located on the lower south hill in Spokane, Washington. The senior pastor provides spiritual oversight and leadership direction to church leaders and the congregation. The senior pastor in cooperation with the Board of Directors and Council, will have primary leadership of all church ministries and committees.

     

    LIVING GRACE FELLOWSHIP BIVOCATIONAL SENIOR PASTOR QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Born again and have a personal testimony of his personal conversion        and commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
    • Align with the Living Grace Fellowship Statement of Faith and Values.
    • Be committed to integrity and accountability to those he serves.
    • Meet the Biblical qualifications for an elder (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1; 1 Peter 5:1-4).
    • Have a clear calling to serve the Lord in Pastoral Ministry.
    • Be a man who can rightly divide the Word of God, II Timothy 2:15
    • Have a theological perspective that is conservative, and adherent to the inerrancy of the whole Word of God.
    • Have public speaking ability (effective communicator).
    • Be a “Servant Leader” with leadership gifts, skills, and abilities.

     

    LIVING GRACE FELLOWSHIP BIVOCATIONAL SENIOR PASTOR: RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST TO THE CHURCH
    • Lead the congregation into a deeper more meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ:
    • Planning and conducting the worship services, prepare and deliver sermons,
    • lead in observance of ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
    • Oversee filling of the pulpit on any Sunday he is not present

              Participate/oversee pastoral care ministries with ministry leaders such as

    • Visiting the sick, spiritual, and scriptural short-term counseling, premarital counseling, officiate at weddings and funerals.
    • Help church members realize their spiritual gifts for service in pastoral care opportunities

             Provide administrative leadership in all areas of church life

    • Act as the chief administrator and oversee all ministries of the church
    • Moderate business meetings
    • Lead in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the total church program
    • Collaborate with Directors and Council 

    COMPENSATION

     

    Potential annual salary range of $24,000 - $28,800 to be negotiated
